AIAA Financial Assistance
Supporting Artists in Need
Since its inception, the All India Artist Association (AIAA), Shimla has not only been a platform for celebrating creativity but also a family that cares for its artists. We understand that the journey of an artist is filled with challenges, and at times, financial hardship can stand in the way of pursuing or continuing one’s artistic passion.
To address this, AIAA has established a Financial Assistance Program — a support initiative designed to provide relief to artists and their families in times of genuine need. This assistance reflects our belief that no artist should be left behind due to financial constraints.
Purpose of the Program
The AIAA Financial Assistance initiative is aimed at:
- Helping senior artists who have dedicated their lives to theatre, dance, and performing arts but face financial hardship in their later years.
- Supporting artists or their families during medical emergencies, accidents, or unforeseen crises.
- Offering relief to promising young talents from economically weaker backgrounds so they may continue their training or participation in AIAA programs and competitions.
- Extending solidarity to families of deceased artists who contributed to the cultural legacy of India.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to:
- Registered members of the All India Artist Association.
- Veteran artists, theatre practitioners, dancers, and performers who have been associated with AIAA or allied cultural movements.
- Young and emerging artists facing financial difficulty in continuing their education, training, or performance opportunities.
- Families of late artists who had a recognised association with AIAA.
